Landscape Department | The Design Process

The design process begins with an initial site consultation. During this process the designer is able to walk the site, meet with the client, and discuss general ideas. Depending on the scope of the work, the designer will then determine if further design time is needed and a contract for design will be sent to the client detailing the scope of the work.

A typical design includes the following:

• Site Analysis and Measuring
• Baseplan Preparation
• Initial Design Conception
• Review Meeting
• Design Revisions
• Review Meeting
• Final Design

After a design has been reviewed and accepted, a proposal for installation will be generated upon request. Most projects can be completed all at once or in phases.
