Sneed's Nursery and Landscaping, for everything under the sun, and in the shade.

Landscape Department | Irrigation

Sneed’s Irrigation is an in-house division of Sneed’s Nursery. Our responsibilities are to ensure irrigation coverage and workability of every irrigation system we install and service. We understand at Sneed’s the water requirements, soil structure, and micro climates of our areas plant’s needs.

The Irrigation Service Department is coordinated and managed by Pam Schultheis. She is the friendly voice you hear when you call in for service. Her responsibilities include scheduling, invoicing and keeping us on schedule during the season.  Technicians John Otte and Tanner Rigsby offer more than 30 years of experience in the service and installation of irrigation systems.

Irrigation Service

Labor Rates: $ 75.00 per hour for the first hour and $ 50.00 per each hour after the first hour.
Winterization and Spring Start-ups are quoted per system.  We base our rates on the number of stations/zones a customer has and the distance we have to travel. Primary pumps may cost more to service. Booster pumps are usually included in the service.

En Guard Backflow Prevention Device Anti-Theft Device

*A Sneed’s Irrigation Exclusive*
Protect your backflow preventer with our lockable steel protection anchored in concrete.  Thieves are stealing these devices for the metal content and unfortunately this problem has come to our area.

The device is installed in about an hour for smaller 3/4” and 1” devices. The installed cost for these smaller devices is $ 345.00 for one lock. Larger devices are quoted on time and material.  The pictures below show a backflow protected with two standard locks on the left, two standard locks with valve locks in the center, and a maximum security device on the right.

EZ FLO Fertigation

Fertigation micro feeds your lawn every time you water your lawn. Systems are sized based upon the size of the lawn, ratio of lawn to shrubs or crop.  Soluble nutrients are placed in an underground patented device about every 3 to 5 weeks, depending upon size of unit and frequency of use.
For more information visit EZ FLO at www.ezflo.com or contact us for free estimate.
