The Landscape Department at Sneed's Nursery and Garden Center offers professional landscape services. Our design staff is qualified to complete the project from the initial conception on paper to the final detail of installation.

The process begins with an initial consultation. During this meeting the designer and client walk the property, discuss the desires of the client, and determine a plan of action. The initial charge for the consultation is $100, within 18 miles of the nursery. All consultations over 18 miles require a brief on the phone interview with the designer to determine the scope of the service to be performed. The consultation usually lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. Depending on the scope of the work, the customer will generally receive a cost analysis and a simple sketch.

If the project is more extensive, the designer will write a proposal for Design Services. The fee is based on the scope of the work. Design Services include a base plan of existing conditions, preliminary design, a review meeting, and final design. At the completion of the design phase, a cost analysis will be generated. Design Services are typically quoted at a hourly rate or on a project basis.

A professional landscape begins with Design Services. Design Services are recommended for large sites, back yards, patios with multiple grade changes, large planting plans, landscape makeovers, and entire yards. These projects often require multiple site visits, measurements, and a more detailed thought process.
