In the summer of 2014, Sneed's was the venue for a simple, yet intimate wedding for a local couple looking to exchange vows in a unique setting.  One of our employees created a bouquet for the bride and opened our eyes to her hidden talents. Prior to Sneed's, Dana worked with well known floral designers in Charlottesville and Richmond for almost two decades.  She even operated a small floral business out of her home in Forest Hill for a few years.  Her first love has always been wedding flowers...an idea was born!  

 

It was written in the stars...

With the purchase of a floral cooler and a makeover for the greenhouse, our flower shop opened for business in January of 2015. Since then, we have provided flowers for weddings from Berkley Plantation in Charles City to Richmond and Charlottesville.  We have taken part in events for Borrowed & Blue at Quirk and Balliceaux, and created a hoppy arrangement for the ground breaking ceremony at Hardywood's Goochland expansion site.  

 

This venture opens a new door for us and allows us to serve RVA in a whole new way.
