Service Description

Join Pete, a seasoned at home mushroom grower to learn how to successfully grow your own oyster mushrooms. Pete started his mushroom journey in 2019 and really got into growing during the COVID-19 lockdown. Growing is a fun and easy way to grow your own food! He will be showing you how to pasteurize straw using hydrated lime and how to inoculate it with grain spawn. At the end of the class attendees will get to take a block home to fruit yourself!
