This class will introduce the basics of pruning apple, pear, persimmon, and cherry trees. After investigating why we prune (for strength, fruit production, and much more!), we'll learn how to discourage unwanted growth and how to encourage desirable growth. Then you'll get the chance to try it out for yourself! Tools and trees provided.
