Join Jacob to listen to him talk about the importance of looking at our yards generally, and our planted areas in particular, as a part of the overall environment, and the impact that that can have on the overall health of wildlife populations. Correspondingly, Jacob will discuss wildlife corridors and how to turn your property into one. Jacob will discuss why planting native species is infinitely more valuable to this purpose than using non-natives, hybrids, or so-called nativars. Also, he will review with you individual species one can plant to attract individual animals, as well as species that are particularly valuable for attracting a wide range of wildlife.
