Let's peel back the layers of the rain garden! This class will cover an introduction to the purpose of the space, along with installation and basic maintenance tips. Most of these garden spaces are site specific so feel free to come ready with questions for group discussion on soil conditions and plant selections.  Ross Munroe of Thistle and Rose LLC  is a certified Chesapeake Bay landscape professional and Virginia Certified Horticulturist. When not running his own landscaping company he also works with the CCLC ( Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council)  to run crew training certificate courses for BMP Maintenance (Best management Practices) for larger scale stormwater management throughout Virginia.
